Materials & Tools
- Yarn: Loop Petal + Loop Posy, 1 skein each (shown in Sky)
- Size: 17.5" circumference (unstretched); fits up to 24" head
- Needles: US 10 (6.0 mm) 16" circular + US 10 (6.0 mm) DPNs
- Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle, optional pom-pom
- Gauge: 15 sts = 4" in stockinette stitch (gauge is not critical)

Pattern Instructions
Hold Petal + Posy together throughout. Cast on 64 sts. Place marker and join in the round without twisting.
Texture Pattern
Rounds 1–2: k2, p2 to end.
Round 3: purl.
Repeat Rounds 1–3 12 times.
Crown Shaping
Decrease Round 1: *k2, p2tog; rep from * to end.
Next Round: *k2, p1; rep from * to end.
Next Round: purl.
Decrease Round 2: *k2tog, p1; rep from * to end.
Next Round: *k1, p1; rep from * to end.
Next Round: purl.
Decrease Rounds 3 & 4: *k2tog; rep from * to end.
Finishing
Cut yarn leaving an 8" tail. Thread tail on a tapestry needle, draw through remaining sts, pull snug to close, and take tail to inside of hat. Weave in ends. Add a pom-pom if you like.
