Our Philadelphia yarn shop is located on South Street in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Center City, where you can browse our yarns, needles, tools, kits, and handmade samples in person. Our staff is always happy to help you choose yarn, find the right supplies for a project, or discover something new.

Getting Here

Loop is located on South Street between 19th and 20th Streets in Philadelphia’s Graduate Hospital neighborhood.

By Public Transportation

Broad Street Line: Get off at Broad and South Streets. Loop is approximately a five-block walk from the station.

Route 40 bus: Get off at 19th and South Streets, on the same block as Loop.

Route 17 bus: Get off at 20th and South Streets, on the same block as Loop.

By Car

Use Google Maps to find the best route to the shop.

Parking

Metered street parking is available on South Street and the surrounding streets. You can pay through the meterUP app or at the nearest kiosk. Free parking is available on some blocks, but most spaces have a two-hour time limit. Please check the posted signs carefully.

The nearest parking garage is the South Street Parking Garage at 1740 South Street. When driving east on South Street, cross 18th Street; the garage entrance will be on your right.

Accessibility

There is one step at the shop entrance and a second, smaller step leading into our classroom space, where the restroom is located. The main sales floor is all on one level, and there is a table with chairs.
