MODE at Rowan Colourmix is a lightweight worsted-weight blend of cotton, wool, and alpaca with playful flecks of color scattered across a creamy base. The color changes happen right in the yarn, adding interest to simple stitches without stranding, changing colors, or following a colorwork chart.
Its airy construction creates a fabric that's warm without feeling heavy, making Colourmix especially well suited to sweaters, vests, scarves, and other layering pieces. Choose from softly shifting color combinations ranging from subtle neutrals to brighter multicolor blends.

This will be my second knitting project with Colormix, and I’m loving it. Works up beautifully, great stitch definition, and the end product is soft and comfortable. Wish there were more colors!
I really didn’t find this yarn to be pleasant to work with! I found it to be somewhat rough on my hands and sticky. I would not purchase this Rowan yarn again!
I would however say that Loop yarn has excellent customer service!
I miscalculated the amount of yarn I needed for a project, and I was so happy to see LOOP carried it! I ordered ahead to pick up, and the second I walked in the door someone immediately asked me if I needed assistance with anything. He also complimented my yarn, which made me even more excited to knit with it!
I have since finished my product, and the MODE at Rowan yard is so cute. I knit a baby sweater with the Rainbow yarn and my niece looks like a little funfetti cupcake.
