We dye Linden in-house in a curated palette of nearly-solid shades. There's something magical about this blend and how it absorbs and reflects our tonal dying process. We can't wait to see all of the inspired knits you'll create with it!
This sculptural garter stitch shawl features a built-in i-cord edge and is worked outward from its center using short rows, "ray" shaped wedges, and arched yarn-over eyelet columns.
This pattern is well-written, and we've found that stitch markers can help simplify the short row placement process. You'll find your groove and quickly get into a rhythm, making this shawl a meditative knit to curl up with on the couch or stitch on while traveling!
We knit the large size and used 3 skeins of Linden (in cherry). The small size calls for 2 skeins and encourages knitters to be creative - will you use 1 color of Linden or multiple colors for stripes?
