The Breeze Louise cowl is simple, cozy, and wonderfully wearable — a knit that's satisfying from the cast-on to the bind-off. Our shop sample is knit with just one skein of Emma's Washable Worsted Wool, a soft, hand-dyed worsted-weight yarn that makes this a project. The combination of pattern and color makes a cowl your friends will beg to borrow!

About the Yarn
Emma's Washable Worsted is 100% superwash merino wool with 218 yards per 100g skein. It's soft enough to wear close to your neck, with the smooth stitch definition and easy care that make it a great choice for everyday accessories.
Because Breeze Louise uses just one skein, it's a fun and easy way to try Washable Worsted for the first time or to use a color you wouldn't normally choose, like a bright speckle, a soft tonal, or something rich and saturated.

Design Details
For Breeze Louise, designer Laura Dobratz chose a simple stitch pattern and repeated it from beginning to end. It's a great introduction to yarnovers for adventurous beginners and a quick, low-stress project for more experienced knitters.
