For our hat, we held together 2 contrasting strands of Tynd. Not only did this hat fly off the needles, it created a lovely marled effect that's great for everyday wear.
You can use 2 strands of the same color, 2 strands of a similar color for a subtle shift, or 2 high-contrast colors, like we did, to create a tweedy effect.
You'll need:
- 2 skeins of Tynd (we used 13 + 31 held together)
- US 8 16" circular needles
- US 8 DPNs
