Seaside Blanket Kit

The Seaside Blanket is a cheerful, easy-to-knit striped blanket made entirely in garter stitch. Knit in Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Worsted, it has a wonderfully soft feel and a simple graphic look that makes it just as appealing to knit as it is to give.

Because every row is knit, the Seaside Blanket is a great project for beginners who are ready to make something larger than a scarf. Alternating two-row stripes create blocks of color against a neutral background, with three contrast colors changing from one section to the next. The finished blanket measures approximately 30 x 36 inches, a versatile size for a baby blanket, stroller blanket, or cozy lap blanket.

Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Worsted is made from 100% certified organic cotton and has a soft, plush hand that's especially lovely for blankets and other projects worn or used next to the skin.
