Loop Posy is our airy laceweight blend of kid mohair and silk, designed to add softness, glow, and a touch of luxury to your knitting. We dye Posy in-house in a luminous palette of hand-dyed shades, each skein glowing with depth and subtle tonal shifts that bring your stitches to life.

This featherlight yarn combines the shimmer of silk with the cloudlike loft of mohair, creating fabric that’s both ethereal and warm. Knit Posy on its own for delicate shawls and wraps with a gauzy halo, or hold it together with another yarn—like our Loop Sprig—for a soft, glowing layer of color and texture.

Because it’s spun from kid mohair and silk, Posy feels silky, airy, and luxurious against your skin. It’s the yarn you’ll reach for when you want to elevate simple stitches, add a radiant halo, and create timeless pieces full of elegance.

Hand-Dyed Yarn 
  • As with all hand-dyed yarn, no two skeins will be exactly alike. We recommend purchasing enough yarn to complete your project and alternating skeins to create the most cohesive color in your fabric.

A delighted customer am I

I stopped into the shop hoping that someone could tell me when a particular color of Posy would be restocked. And what do you know? The young woman told me that since I was interested, she’d make it a priority to dye some up within the next week or so. Lucky me! How was I to know that I was speaking to THE very person? Within a short time, I had precisely what I wanted.

As to the mohair itself, it’s outstanding, and the color I purchased is a match to its namesake in Loop’s beautiful Tendril fingering yarn.

I will buy Posy again. Tendril, too.

Perfect yarn!

I knitted a hat by doubling the yarn and it was such a pleasure to knit. It never tangled and the result is so soft. The yarn is so vibrant! I can't wait to use it again for a sweater maybe!
