Absolutely! Crochet 1 is designed specifically for complete beginners. You'll build your skills one step at a time and leave with the confidence to keep going on your own.
If you've never crocheted before, start with Crochet 1: Coasters. It's also a great refresher if it's been a while since you've picked up a hook. If you already know the basics, we're happy to help you choose the class that's the best fit.
Most people are surprised by how quickly they get started. After Crochet 1, you'll understand the basic stitches and begin reading simple crochet patterns. As you continue through the series, you'll add skills like working in the round, shaping, changing colors, making granny squares, and crocheting motifs.
Materials vary by class. Some crochet classes include all materials, while others require you to bring yarn and a hook. Each class description includes a materials list, and we're happy to help you choose everything you'll need.
Please check the class description for the materials list. If materials are included, just bring yourself. If supplies are required, we'll help you choose the right yarn and hook before class.
Classes are limited to eight students, ensuring everyone has plenty of opportunities to ask questions, receive individual guidance, and learn at a comfortable pace.
