We asked Hedgehog Fibres to create a custom Hedgehog Sock colorway for Part 2 of our Summer Sock Knitalong. The way it works is this: they will make you a one time, never-to-be-repeated colorway that they call Potluck! You can send inspiration photos and their dyers will whip up something special for you. SO. MUCH. FUN!
I sent them this vintage, hand tinted photo of our famous Philadelphia Museum of Art. I asked for a speckly-mix and here is what they created:
Gorgeous, right? I love the pops of color set against the warm gray background! This colorway would make fantastic socks, a brilliant shawl and fade very well with others!
Hedgehog Sock is 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon. The added nylon helps garments keep their shape and wear well.

For this KAL, there will be 2 teams: Team Toe Up led by Meredith and Team Cuff Down led by Meghan. We are using our Hedgehog Sock Potluck colorway and suggest you do the same, although any color of Hedgehog Sock will do!

The team that has the most completed socks by September 15th wins! Each team member of the winning team will get 100 points added to their Loop Rewards account and one team member will receive a skein of Hedgehog Sock via random drawing.
