Drop Stitch Folded Poncho in Billie Jean

Our latest creation is fun to knit and easy to wear all summer long! The Drop Stitch Folded Poncho is made with Wool and the Gang's Billie Jean, a cool, cotton denim perfect for warm weather knitting!

Our poncho is created using a stitch pattern that's simple to knit but creates a big impact. It's a garter base with repeating sections of yarn overs and dropped stitches that open up the fabric while adding interest and texture.

Once you've finished knitting your Drop Stitch Panel, you simply fold in half and seam at the shoulder. Wear with the seam on your shoulder and points one side or turn the seam to back with the points on either side for a cute capelet style.

This piece is just the thing for warding off extreme A.C. or for evening strolls along the boardwalk. It adds a summery polish to a tank top with jeans or shorts!

Billie Jean is made with upcycled cotton and denim and comes in just 4 colorways. Each is blended with 2 colors of fiber to create light, medium and dark washes. The raw denim is just 1 solid color with no tweed effect.

To make our Drop Stitch Folded Poncho, you'll need:

Finished SIze: 16" deep by 48" unfolded.
4 skeins of Billie Jean - we used the dirty denim colorway.
US8 24-inch circular needles
Free Pattern- we will email you the pattern after we process your order of 4 or more skeins.

If you'd just like the pattern you can purchase it here.

Please note that just like your favorite denim, Billie Jean will release some dye and fade a bit after the first washings. We recommend washing your Poncho separately to avoid staining other fabrics.
