Legacy is made from Shaniko Wool, a fiber collective comprised of 10 family-owned ranches in the western United States. Shaniko was the first U.S. company to meet the Responsible Wool Standard and has continued in this vein with all its merino wool.
This care and attention to detail produces some of the softest merino you'll ever feel! Legacy's twist creates bouncy strands and a lively knitting experience. This means soft fabric with excellent stitch definition. Colorwork is a must with this wool, and steeking will work beautifully.
