Saxony is Juniper Moon's fabulous blend of 75% cashmere and 25% extra fine merino, with the cashmere delivering the luxe and the merino in soft, tweedy pops.
This soft and subtle fiber combo knits up into a sublimely squishy yet substantial fabric that's baby-soft against the skin. Saxony's worsted gauge makes it an excellent choice to upgrade your tried & true worsted weight patterns!

The hat is a classic stockinette watch cap that knits up in just one skein. The 3-skein scarf's plush texture is achieved using an easy-to-memorize knit + purl pattern. Best of all, the unisex style works well for everyone!
The scarf is 6" x 65" after a light blocking. The hat is sized to fit most with a 20" circumference.
To knit the set you'll need:
- 4 skeins of Saxony (1 for the hat + 3 for the scarf)
- US 7 + 9 16" circular needles + US 9 DPNs for the hat
- US 9 straight needles OR 24" circular needles for the scarf
- The Hat pattern is free with your 1 skein purchase, and the Scarf pattern is free with your 3 skein purchase. 4 skeins gets you both! We'll email you the patterns when we post your package.
