Noro Uchiwa is all about summer color! These superb shades have Noro's signature gentle striping but with longer, subtler blending to create a more gradual color gradation. Then they are layered with tweedy flecks for a stunning marled appearance. You don't usually see a non-wool yarn with this rich color, making it a perfect choice for color lovers with wool sensitivities.

We're loving Uchiwa for three season tops and wraps! Try the More than One Direction Tee or a Boneyard Shawl!

Biases

I like the feel of this yarn, and I think the colors are pretty. The tight twist gives it a strong bias which I believe would make it unsuitable for a project in the round and possibly even for plain old flat-knitted stockinette. Hopefully, the project I’m working on has just enough purling to keep things from excessive slanting.
