The Musselburgh is a fun-to-knit with a clever construction. You start with a center-out cast-on and increase for the first crown. Then, knit the bodies of the two hats and decrease the second crown. Then, you fold one inside the other for an extra warm hat!
We've found that getting started can be a little tricky! In this class, you'll learn the center-out cast-on so you can be on your way and knit the rest of the hat.
Materials: 350 yards of DK weight yarn, US 6 double-pointed needles, Musselburgh pattern. Please come to class with your materials selected and pattern purchased.
Skill level: For graduates of Knit 2 or those who are comfortable knitting and purling and have completed a few small projects.

Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is needed to reserve your space. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the first class for a store credit or to move to a different class or session. We cannot offer a store credit if we receive less than 3 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up sessions, so please make sure you can attend each class. If a class is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.
Classes with special guest teachers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend.
