Cables are a classic knitting technique that every knitter should try! In this class, you will learn to read a cable chart, use a cable needle, and decrease while cabling! In the end, you'll have a highly giftable, cabled hat!
Homework: Please come to the first class with your pattern, yarn, and needles purchased and the ribbing of the hat completed. This will allow you to start cabling right away!
Materials: 200 yards worsted weight wool (we recommend Flora), US 6 + 8 16-inch circular needles, US 8 double-pointed needles, cable needles, stitch markers.
Skill level: This class is suitable for graduates of Knit 2 or those that or comfortable knitting and purling in the round and have made a hat previously.

Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is needed to reserve your space. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the first class for a store credit or to move to a different class or session. We cannot offer a store credit if we receive less than 3 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up sessions, so please make sure you can attend each class. If a class is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.
Classes with special guest teachers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend.
All classes are for students 18 years of age and older.
