Rios and Risoni belong together! Each yarn is soft to the touch and both have deep, saturated colors. While Malabrigo's Rios is a nice, round yarn with uniform stitches, Risoni runs thick and thin with a pretty shine. Put them together and their beautiful, wabi-sabi blend creates our R + R Cowl!
This textural look is created by striping the yarns, but not changing needle sizes. This way the thinner Risoni is knit into nice open stitches. You will knit the cowl flat and then seam the short ends. The pattern is simple to follow and completing each section gives you that good feeling of forward momentum!
Think of this cowl as a statement necklace. It's a soft, beautiful way to add excitement to a simple outfit. Wear this cowl long over a tunic or dress or doubled up with jean jacket!
