Join us on Saturday, May 6, 2017, for our 2nd annual trip to the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. We'll travel in a top-of-the-line touring bus with comfortable reclining seats, heat and/or air conditioning, and plenty of space for your bags and Festival purchases (just no livestock!).
The cost is $48 per person. Click here to get your seat!
The bus will leave the shop at 7:30am and have us home again by 6:30pm. You’re welcome to bring food and drinks onto the bus. The ride is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
This year the Sheep & Wool Festival is charging a $5 entrance fee. You can buy your ticket in advance, which we would recommend. You can also pay when you get there. They’ll accept cash and checks, but if you have exact change, there will be an express lane.
If the Festival is new to you, you’re in for a treat! Begun in 1974, the Festival is a celebration of all things sheep. You’ll find everything from breed competitions and shearing demonstrations to live entertainment and food to a market filled with fleece and yarn. It’s a rite of Spring for many knitters and spinners; come with us and you’ll see why!
Non-refundable pre-payment is required to hold your seat. See you on the bus!
